Ruth Bennett has been a member of Busbridge Church for 20 years. Since retirement from midwifery lecturing in 2000, Ruth has ministered as a Reader (now Licensed Lay Minister) and shares in most aspects of church services, groups and pastoral ministry. She cares for her friend Linda Brown, who has MS. Linda says of her, "Ruth is a very careful and loving person who can appear a little frightening until you take time and trouble to get to know her. She is very clever but not at all overwhelming. Take the time and listen closely and you will be rewarded. I was."'
